Canada Closes Weekend at Top of Medal Standings

On the heels of  Lasha Tsatsalashvili ’s gold medal performance in the under-73 kg category yesterday, Canada’s athletes stormed the podium on the final day of the Junior European Cup in Podgorica, Montenegro. Two more podium finishes for Canada in Bosnia-Herzegovina

No fewer than four Canadian judokas competed for medals on the final day of the European Cup in Sarajevo, and two of them climbed on the podium. On Sunday,  Evelyn Beaton  (-52 kg) and  John Jr Messé A Bessong  (+100 kg) both earned bronze medals.
